2011 High School Summer Intensive Animation Course @ KCAI

I had the pleasure of teaching these fine young students some animation basics this past week. None of them had had any prior experience with Cintiq's, Flash, or animation on Monday. They picked up the tricks and tools and just ran with it. Great job guys!

I was reminded of this song and video last night while watching Ubisoft's E3 press conference. I was originally introduced to it by my friend Maggie. This song certainly made the cinematic for the new assassins creed look badass but not nearly as BA as the original music video

New Project

I've been working on a new film. It's an experimental film based along these premises

• Animate at least 10 frames every day at the end of the day
• record, date, general mood
• allow my hand to decide where the lines should be
• rinse and repeat for 365 days

It's been 18 days so far and I'm posting my progress here
I don't think I want to test this before its all completely done.  I have a ton of ideas for what to do with this piece when its completed. Only time will tell.
