Animation on the DS!!!!

Old and New

Here is a horror vacui drawing I did a while ago

and a new one I just completed today

both of these were drawn in a collaborative sketchbook I am keeping with my dearest friend Maggie Hall

Expanding Anyway - Morning Teleportation

This music video is extremely creative and beautiful! I can't even begin to imagine the number of hours it took to create something of this depth and detail.

Steal like an artist by Austin Kleon

once again I am re-posting something from Drawn!, but this is one of the most inspiring posts that I have ever encountered. Austin Kleon shares 10 tips that he wished he would have learned in college.

New Project

I've been working on a new film. It's an experimental film based along these premises

• Animate at least 10 frames every day at the end of the day
• record, date, general mood
• allow my hand to decide where the lines should be
• rinse and repeat for 365 days

It's been 18 days so far and I'm posting my progress here
I don't think I want to test this before its all completely done.  I have a ton of ideas for what to do with this piece when its completed. Only time will tell.

Stacey Rozich

This wonderful artist caught my attention thanks to the folks over on Drawn.
I was immediately taken aback by her masterful use of color and pattern. There isn't a single piece on her website that I don't love.

Even Better

I'm really starting to fall in love with this guys work

Bad but Good

This made my pretty mediocre day into a pretty exceptional day.

Hunger

I completed another drawing. I've slowly been getting bigger and bigger with these pieces, this one is 11 X 17 inches. The next one will be 20 X 26 so be on the look out for that one in a month or two. I'm really getting into this style.

BFF's AGAIN!!

This is a continuation of one of the first designer toy sets I ever collected! I love these little plays between opposites and love!
